Welcome to my lifestyle blog! My name is Christine, a.k.a. Industrious Jane, a generally all around creative person. I love healthy sustainable living, DIY projects and home renovations, healthy cooking, travel and exploring greater ATL. I’m passionate about feeding my family nutritious non-processed foods. I believe humans eat more animal products than necessary and the over production of such is harming us as well as our planet. So you’ll find lots of meatless and vegan recipes here! I also feel its important to consider sustainable consumerism as we make everyday purchases such as food, clothing, furniture, etc. I put this belief into practice by frequenting resale shops such as Goodwill, Savers, church thrift stores or on-line options like Thread-Up or eBay
It wasn’t until this June it began to come together…sort of. We were Summering in Rhode Island, at a sea-side family camp which has been in my husband’s family for several generations. While settling The Kid into his room, I looked up and above the bed hung this engraving:
Strangely, Industrious Jane spoke to me. Not in the literal sense (sorry to disappoint any sci-fi fans.) She resonated in me. At the time I wasn’t sure why or what she was trying to say, I just knew I loved that little print.
Fast forward two months, we’ve returned to our Georgia home after a glorious Rhode Island summer. I had a moment….Inklings of blogging came to the surface once again, this time the stewing pot bubbled over with clarity…….. The blog will be about ALL things I love to do, healthy cooking, DIY projects, home renovations, and travel and it will be called Industrious Jane!
But enough about me and Industrious Jane.
I hope you stop by often and become inspired to try something new, venture out, live your best life!
